The FCDO advises against all travel to the whole of Syria, and the US rates it Level 4 (Do Not Travel) citing terrorism, unrest, kidnapping, crime and armed conflict. General safety risks outweigh all other factors, so the score is very low regardless of how Black visitors might be received. Evidence on treatment of Black people specifically is scarce.
