Côte d'Ivoire is a majority-Black country and we found no documented pattern of hostility towards Black visitors; Black travel media covers Abidjan and the coast positively. The score is held back by general safety: the US rates it Level 2 for crime and terrorism, and both the US and FCDO advise against travel to the northern border areas where JNIM-linked attacks and kidnaps occur. Black-traveller-specific evidence is mostly anecdotal.
