Why this rating
Bosnia and Herzegovina is US Level 2 for crime, landmines and terrorism risk, and the FCDO lists no areas it advises against. The UN CERD's 2024 review raised racist hate speech, hate crimes and the treatment of migrants, though it focused mainly on Roma. There is little documented evidence about Black visitors specifically, and the local Black community is negligible, so confidence is low.
